When the hamburger steaks are nearing the end of cooking time add sliced onions to caramelize, if you like. Remove the hamburger steaks when done and finish cooking the onions.   3. After the butter has been melted for 10-15 minutes start grilling the steaks & add the brown sugar to the butter as it continues to cook down on low
  4. Once there is a good sear on each side of the steaks paint the butter sauce on the steaks making sure to do both sides, doing this will add moisture, tenderness & caramelization to your steak
